The internship program in my office has been designed to give college-age students in their fall, spring, or summer semesters a firsthand look at the inner workings and daily operations of a Congressional office. As an intern with the U.S. House of Representatives, you will have the opportunity to attend Congressional hearings, perform varying types of legislative research and writing, assist my staff with various constituent services such as giving tours and answering correspondence, and help with different types of office duties such as answering the phones and greeting visitors. As such, it is required that intern applicants are organized, responsible, self-motivated and eager to help in these various day-to-day activities.

Internship spots each semester are limited, and preference will be given to students who are from the 2nd District of New Hampshire.  Internship opportunities are available in my Concord, Nashua, and Washington Offices.

If you are interested in applying for an internship with my office, please fill out the attached application and submit it to my office along with the other required information. Please feel free to contact my Washington office at (202) 225-5206 with any questions you may have about the program.
