  • No farm of their magnitude would go belly-up from a confiscation of 2.2 acres. Brian clearly shied from those figures but focused mostly on the foolishness and unencessity of the project , which is a good point in and of itself.

  • 'Scuse me -- the Rainville family refused money from the start; they didn't want to sell their land at any price. The first proposal would have cut their farm in two, with no access from one part to the other. The feds cut their demand -- and from the start, they said "sell or we'll take it" -- from 10 acres to 5 acres to 2.2 acres. At no point did they manifest any comprehension of the relationship between hay, cow, and milk. Milk: $12/hundreweight. Cost to produce: $15. Part of that: hay.

  • Yeah, good job. Send the funds somewhere else because you and your lowlife family didn't get more money. It was going to be ok when you thought you were getting more money. No consideration for how this will affect your neighbors and the rest of the community. Low life dopes.

  • If the Feds can't figure out the right way out of this idiocy, a good dose of tar and feathers, applied externally, might help concentrate their minds. If they come back to Vermont waving their eminent domain big stick again.... i hope the citizens will stick it to 'em. Literally and figuratively.

  • YAY Rainville!! Sock it to 'em!!!

  • Franklin Country dairy farmers kick butt!

  • Good luck and Godspeed to the Rainville family
