  • Seeing a Renewed Trinity

    Almost 155 years ago, Major Ripley Arnold ensconced his troops on the beautiful Trinity River bluffs what now is Downtown Fort Worth. Major Arnold and his company of Dragoon soldiers went on to establish "Fort Worth" on the bluffs at the confluence of the Clear and West Forks of the Trinity River, about where the Tarrant County Courthouse stands today.

With almost 44 million Americans without health insurance, the move by American Airlines, Home Depot, Lockheed Martin and other companies to create a nationwide insurance pool will give part-time, temporary, contract, retired and other employees access to affordable, quality health insurance by 2005.
