WASHINGTON, DC –U.S. Congressman John Salazar will be visiting Durango and Norwood on Wednesday, September 1st, 2010.

WHO: U.S. Congressman John T. Salazar, Former Senator Ben Campbell and Linda Campbell, Fort Lewis College President Dene Kay Thomas, and members of the Fort Lewis College Board of Trustees, student body, and administration
WHAT: Congressman Salazar will be on hand to deliver remarks on his bill to provide federal relief to FLC for Native American student tuition reimbursement and to join in the ribbon cutting for the new Student Union.

Norwood Clinic Opening, Uncompahgre Medical Center – Norwood, Colorado
WHO: U.S. Congressman John T. Salazar and officials from the Uncompahgre Medical Center
WHAT: This is the grand opening for the new health clinic in Norwood, Colorado which was made possible through the stimulus package. The effort provided jobs to the region and will provide expanded health care coverage to residents of the region.
