Non-partisan report puts Congressman Salazar at center of U.S. House

Ratings the result of Salazar’s Colorado values and independence

WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman John T. Salazar is one of the most centrist members of Congress, according to a report released today by National Journal Magazine. The report reflects Salazar’s commitment to Colorado values and his independence from leadership in either party.
“I take my commitment to represent Colorado values and independence very seriously,” said Salazar. “Since I was elected, I’ve tried to bring my experience as a farmer and small business owner to Washington.  I believe a member of Congress should put their constituents above their political party, and work towards common sense solutions to the challenges facing our nation.”
