Congressman Salazar Announces Moffat County Events

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, U.S. Congressman John Salazar announced the following public events in Moffat County:

1 p.m. Saturday, September 25, 2010
WHO: U.S. Congressman John T. Salazar, Larry Neu of VFW Post 4265, members of the American Legion, Director Terry Atienza and Paul Sweeney of the Grand Junction VA Medical Center

WHAT:  John will announce HR 5798, his new bill to name the Craig Community Based Outreach Clinic after Major William Edward Adams, a true hero from Craig and recipient of the Congressional Medal of Honor.  The Craig CBOC is moving into a new facility that the Congressman helped secure.  John will tour the new site and make remarks on his legislation.
