Rep. Salazar’s Statement After VA Chief Resigns

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Rep. John Salazar (CO-3) made the following statement after Secretary of Veterans Affairs Jim Nicholson announced his resignation today.

“I have worked closely with Secretary Nicholson over the years and appreciate his work as a public servant.  I wish Mr. Nicholson well in his future endeavors and look forward to the work ahead as we tackle the issues facing our aging veteran population and the next generation of veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan.”
