Salazar Statement on Piñon Canyon Fire
Washington, DC – Congressman John Salazar released the following statement today in response to the ongoing fire at the Piñon Canyon Maneuver Site in Southern Colorado:
“My thoughts and prayers go out to the brave men and women battling the fire at Piñon Canyon. It is our hope that they can bring it under control as quickly as possible. They will have the full support of my office throughout the fight.
“We know all too well the dangers fire presents in the West and we must all work together to prevent the loss of life and property.”
