Congressman Salazar discusses issues of the day with the Gunnison Stockgrowers

 
 


WASHINGTON, DC – Today U.S. Congressman John Salazar met with the Gunnison County Stockgrowers and other members of the Gunnison community to discuss legislative issues affecting residents of the Third Congressional District. The Congressman discussed a wide-range of topics including his efforts to exempt working farms and ranches from the estate tax, endangered species issues, health care and more.

In an address to the Stockgrowers Congressman Salazar offered the following comment:

“Thank you for giving me the honor and privilege of representing the most beautiful district in the entire country. Every time you drive through Gunnison you see the heart and soul of America. I love this community and I’m proud to be a farmer and rancher and I’m proud to represent you.”
