WASHINGTON, D.C. –Today Congressman John Salazar announced a U.S. Department of Transportation grant for $1,048,693 to rehabilitate a portion of the general aviation parking apron at Pueblo Memorial Airport. Rehabilitation of the apron will extend the useful life of the pavement that has severely deteriorated from the effects of age and weather.
“I know this funding will help the Pueblo Memorial Airport continue to improve its ability to provide safe and efficient air service for residents and pilots in and around the region,” said Congressman Salazar. “I am proud to have supported these efforts and I will continue to work to provide necessary funding for projects like these, projects that will improve our infrastructure and strengthen our economy.”
