Pallone on Remembering Our Nation’s Veterans on Memorial Day |

Washington, D.C. - Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. Friday released the following statement honoring our fallen soldiers and the service of those currently serving in the military.
“On this Memorial Day, let us remember those that have given the ultimate sacrifice during their service in the military. We honor their courageous, bold, and truly selfless actions that have granted us the basic set of freedoms we exercise on a daily basis. Not a day goes by that I am not grateful for the sacrifices of these service members.
“As a new generation of troops serve our nation overseas, we should also think of their sacrifices and those of their families as they are in harm’s way every day.
“Today let us take a moment of silence to remember the sacrifices of the veterans who have died and to honor their memory by living each day cognizant of the price our nation has paid for our freedom.” |
