Federal Resources

Eastern North Carolina needs a great deal of resources and assistance.  Without increased resources and improved infrastructure, our region risks falling behind as we try to compete in a global economy.

One of my greatest priorities is increasing eastern North Carolina’s share of federal resources and assistance. Toward that end, I continue to work with communities to identify and aggressively pursue federal grants, loans and technical assistance, and Congressionally directed funding.
