Protecting our Values

Louisiana is a wonderful place to live and raise a family. As a representative of this great state, I am working everyday to preserve our values and way of life.

As a father and grandfather, I strongly believe in protecting the rights of the unborn.  Serving as a member of the Congressional Pro-life Caucus, I am a consistent champion of pro-life causes.  I have always and will continue to support legislation that seeks to protect the most precious members of our society.

Being a life-long Louisianan, I have grown up enjoying the “Sportsman’s Paradise” as my home.  I am proud to be a member of the Congressional Sportsman Caucus, and to have received an "A" rating from the National Rifle Association.  I firmly believe that the government should not pass any law that restricts the rights of law-abiding citizens to purchase, own and legally use firearms.

In addition, I believe in the sanctity of marriage and support a constitutional amendment defining marriage as a union between one man and one woman.
