Education

I believe that every child is entitled to a quality education.  With that said, I give each piece of legislation regarding changes to our education system careful consideration and study.  Children are our nation’s most valuable resource, and the future of America depends on our students receiving the best education we can provide.  I am fully committed to making sure educators receive the tools they need to accomplish the paramount task of teaching our children.  I also think that not all of the answers to reforming education reside in Washington, D.C.  I support allowing local educators and parents to play a greater role when it comes to making decisions about schools.
