Reform I Do Support

I do agree that something should be done to address health reform.  That is why became an original cosponsor of H.R. 3400, the Empowering Patients First Act, which was introduced by Rep. Tom Price (GA-06) on July 30, 2009, as well as introduced H.R. 1891, Sunset of Life Protection Act of 2009.  Please continue reading below to learn more about these two bills.

  • H.R. 1891

    H.R. 1891, introduced by Congressman Alexander, seeks to provide individuals a 50 percent non-refundable tax deduction on the cost of long-term care insurance costs. The deduction would be enacted, in full, to taxable years beginning once the measure is signed into law.

  • H.R. 3400

    Congressman Alexander does agree that something should be done to address health reform. That is why he is an original cosponsor of H.R. 3400, the Empowering Patients First Act, which was introduced by Rep. Tom Price (GA-06) on July 30, 2009.
