Crenshaw Pledges to Work for Fiscal Responsibility With Incoming House Appropriations Committee Chairman Hal Rogers

WASHINGTON, DC – Congressman Ander Crenshaw, a member of the House Appropriations Committee, pledged to work closely with incoming House Appropriations Committee Chairman Hall Rogers (R-KY) for fiscal responsibility. Crenshaw issued the following statement on Wednesday, December 8:

“Congratulations to Hal Rogers on his new position as Chairman of the House Appropriations Committee. Historical financial decisions are ahead for this committee and Congress, and I look forward to working with Chairman Rogers and my colleagues to enact key reforms to return confidence to our appropriations process. That work includes, but is not limited to, earmark reform, cuts to wasteful spending, and a review of the failed policies of the Democratic Administration that have damaged the economy and pocketbooks of all Americans.

“Our nation is at a cross-road with clear choices in the months and years ahead: fiscal responsibility or continued reckless, big-government spending. I choose to work with Chairman Rogers and my colleagues for clearly-defined and thoroughly-analyzed policies that provide a foundation for a vibrant and strong economic future for generations to come.”

Congressman Ander Crenshaw represents Florida’s Fourth Congressional District and has served on the Appropriations Committee since 2003.
