WASHINGTON—In a letter to his Senate colleagues today, U.S. Senator Jeff Sessions (R-AL), Ranking Member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, urged opposition to the mass amnesty proposal for illegal aliens known as the DREAM Act. Sessions highlighted the many flaws in the legislation, such as broad eligibility for a number of illegal immigrants with criminal records, and raised serious concerns about the process through which enactment of the legislation has been pursued.[ continue ]
