Washington, DC— Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro (CT-3) voted for the Middle Class Tax Relief Act of 2010 today, which will provide extended tax relief to American families who make up to $250,000 a year.

“In these tough economic times, providing tax relief to middle class American families is vital. I am proud to have supported this legislation today, and I will keep fighting to ensure that our middle class weathers this difficult economy. Critically, extending these tax cuts will keep the Child Tax Credit threshold at the current $3,000 level, which provided an increased credit to the working families of 15.9 million children, including 5.5 million newly eligible children.”
