The White House

The White House is the official residence of the President of the United States and one of the most popular sites in Washington, D.C.  Request for a White House tour may be made through our office at least six months in advance due to limited tours offered.  The White House encourages groups to take advantage of the White House Visitor Center located at the southeast corner of the 15th and E Streets in the Department of Commerce building.  The Center is open seven days a week from 7:30am until 4:00pm.  For more information, please call
202-208-1631.

Bureau of Engraving and Printing

The BEP is located on 14th and C Street, SW.  AT the BEP, you will see government workers engrave and print America's paper money.  The tour lasts about 45 minutes.  A limited number of tickets are available through my office. We ask that you place your request at least 2 months in advance.  If tickets are not available through my office, the BEP offers public tours.  The BEP hands out tickets on a first come, first serve basis starting at 7:00am daily.  The Bureau is closed on weekends, all Federal holidays and the week between Christmas and New Years.  If you have further questions, please contact the Bureau toll free at
