Congress and the White House have signed into law a couple measures to create jobs and spur economic growth. The most known measure, signed into law in February 2009, was the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. The $787 billion legislation was signed into law in hopes of stimulating the economy. Over a year later and a growing 1.349 trillion dollar deficit, the nation’s unemployment rate still hovers near 10 percent. Do you believe Congress and the White House have enacted the appropriate policies to create jobs and spur economic growth?
