  • Requests for Flags, White House, Capitol Tours to Cease Election Day

    (OVERLAND PARK, KAN.) – Tuesday, November 2, 2010, will be the last day Congressman Dennis Moore's office will accept requests from constituents to request flags be flown above the Capitol, request White House tours, or organize Capitol tours. All requests must be placed with the office by the close of business on this day, though constituents may contact other congressional offices to request these services in the future.

  • Conference Committee Approves Wall Street Reform

    (WASHINGTON, DC) – Congressman Dennis Moore (Third District – Kansas) announced today the approval of the financial regulatory reform conference report, which creates a final bill due for passage in the House and Senate. The conference committee, comprised of House and Senate members, has met for the last three weeks in public, televised talks, reconciling the previously-passed versions of regulatory reform from both chambers.
