BEFORE GETTING STARTED PLEASE NOTE:
  • Not all buildings, monuments and museums offer congressional tours.
  • In general, congressional tour tickets are very limited.
  • Tour availability is solely determined by the issuing agencies.
  • Congressman Miller distributes his tickets on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • All tour sites listed on this form, except for the White House and Pentagon, offer both congressional and public tours.
  • Tours listed are free of charge.
  • The White House and Pentagon require each visitor’s full name, date of birth, social security number and other personal information before granting tour access.

White House Congressional tours offered Tuesdays - Saturdays, mornings. No public tours. Click link for more information (opens a new page). Minimum eight weeks notice required in order to submit security information in on time. Tours are scheduled at the discretion of the White House and there is no guarantee of availability. Background check required for all visitors.
U.S. Capitol Congressional tours offered Monday – Friday (excluding all federal holidays), 8:30am - 3:00pm. Public tours offered.
Pentagon Congressional tours offered Monday – Friday (excluding all federal holidays), 9:00am – 3:00pm. Minimum three weeks notice required. Background check required for all visitors.
Library of Congress Congressional tours offered Monday - Friday, 8:30am, 1:45pm & 3:45pm. Public tours offered.
Supreme Court Congressional tours offered Monday - Friday, 1:45pm; tickets limited to 6 per family. Public tours offered.
Bureau of Engraving & Printing Congressional tours offered Monday - Friday, mornings. Public tours offered.
Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts Congressional tours offered Monday - Friday, 9:30am and 4:30pm, Saturday at 9:30am. Public tours offered.

Step 7: Security screening requirements.

Some government installations, such as the White House and Pentagon, require background checks on all visitors. If Congressman Miller’s tour coordinator needs this information from you to complete a background check, he or she will contact you via your day-time telephone number and/or email address. Required information includes:
  • Full legal name as it appears on a government issued ID card
  • Social Security number
  • Date of birth
  • City, state, & country of birth (such as United States, Mexico, etc.)
  • Country of citizenship (such as United States, Mexico, etc.)
  • Gender
  • Current Address
Again, Mr. Miller’s tour coordinator will contact you requesting this information only if this information is needed to complete your tour itinerary. Once requested, failure to provide this information in a timely manner may result in denial of some government building tours.
