The office of Rep. Rosa DeLauro is here to serve you when you visit our Nation's Capital. If you are a 3rd District resident, you can request tour reservations through the Washington, D.C. office. Capitol Tours

The U.S. Capitol is open six days a week, except Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day.  Since September 11, 2001, the Capitol has made a series of necessary changes in visitation procedures.  We would like to maintain open access to the Capitol, while balancing the requirement to ensure safety and security at all times.  The Capitol will be open to the public for tours from  9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.  Please keep in mind that when visiting the Capitol Building, certain items will be prohibited .  To schedule a tour of the Capitol please call Elizabeth Albertine in my office at least seven days in advance at (202)-225-3661 .  You can also fill out this form .

In addition, the packet (PDF) below contains a wealth of information concerning many of the places of interest throughout Washington, D.C.  It is my hope that these details will help you make the most of your visit.
