“The service academies provide an avenue to a career as an officer in the military,” Congresswoman Bordallo said.  “Many young men and women from Guam have met the academic and physical requirements and are now attending or have graduated from these institutions.  I encourage interested and qualified high school seniors to consider the academies as a path to a commission.  I commend all of our men and women who serve, both enlisted and officers, and I look forward to assisting those students who are interested in attending a service academy.”
