Chamber Support Staff. Pursuant to Rule VIII of the Rules of
the House of Representatives, Ms. Gerber notified the House
that she had been served with a subpoena for testimony
issued by the Superior Court for the District of Columbia in
connection with a criminal case now pending before that
court and that after consultation with the Office of the
General Counsel, she determined that compliance with the
subpoena is consistent with the precedents and privileges of
the House.
