The Speaker laid before the House a message from the President transmitting a notification regarding the 2010 Economic Report - referred to the Joint Economic Committee and ordered to be printed (H. Doc. 111-81).

3:04 P.M. -
The House received a message from the Clerk. Pursuant to the permission granted in Clause 2(h) of Rule II of the Rules of the U.S. House of Representatives, the Clerk notified the House that she had the honor to transmit a sealed envelope received from the White House on Thursday, February 11, 2010 at 5:08 p.m., and said to contain a message from the President whereby he submits the 2010 Economic Report of the President.

Res. 413 and H. Con. Res. 235.

2:02 P.M. -
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE - The Chair designated Mr. Tonko to lead the Members in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.

The Speaker announced approval of the Journal. Pursuant to clause 1, rule I, the Journal stands approved.
