The House received a communication from Justin Cox, Physician, Office of the Attending Physician. Pursuant to Rule VIII of the Rules of the House of Representatives, Mr. Cox notified the House that he had been served with a subpoena for trial testimony issued by the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia in connection with a criminal case now pending in that court. After consultation with the Office of General Counsel, he determined that compliance with the subpoena is consistent with the privileges and rights of the House.
