Forbes, Sallie Mae Fund Announce
Free "Paying for College" Workshop
in Chesapeake |
WASHINGTON, D.C.
– Area high school students are invited to attend a free workshop
hosted by the Sallie Mae Fund on planning and paying for college, to
be held on Saturday, June 24, 2006 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Congressman J. Randy Forbes (VA-04) will kick-off the event. Two
high school students will win $500 scholarships toward the cost of a
higher education.
