Washington, D.C., Jan 28, 2008 - Congressman J. Randy Forbes (VA-04) released the following statement after the President’s State of the Union Address this evening: 

“This was the final State of the Union Address delivered by a President who deserves respect for keeping Americans safe from terrorists for 6½ years.  His speech included several challenges that Congress clearly needs to hear - now is the time to put an end to partisan bickering and roll up our sleeves to solve the problems confronting everyday American families.”
