Committee on Veterans' Affairs: On Wednesday, October 6, 2010, committee concluded an oversight hearing to examine Veterans' Affairs Information Technology (IT) program, focusing on looking ahead, after receiving testimony from Roger W. Baker, Assistant Secretary for Information and Technology, and Belinda J. Finn, Assistant Inspector General for Audits and Evaluations, Office of Inspector General, both of the Department of Veterans' Affairs; Edward F. Meagher, Computer Sciences Corporation, Falls Church, Virginia; Glenn Tullman, Allscripts, Raleigh, North Carolina; and Tom Munnecke, Encinitas, California.

RETIREMENT SECURITY IN AMERICA


Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions: On Thursday, October 7, 2010, committee concluded a hearing to examine retirement security in America, after receiving testimony from Phyllis Borzi, Assistant Secretary of Labor for Employee Benefits Security Administration; Jack VanDerhei, Employee Benefit Research Institute; and Ross Eisenbrey, Economic Policy Institute, both of Washington, DC; and Shareen Miller, Falls Church, Virginia.
