Committee on Rules: Granted, by a record vote of 8-4, a rule providing for consideration of the Conference Report to accompany H.R. 3288, Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2010. The rule waives all points of order against the conference report and against its consideration. The rule provides that the conference report shall be considered as read. Finally, the rule provides that the previous question shall be considered as ordered without intervention of any motion except one hour of debate and one motion to recommit. SAME-DAY CONSIDERATION OF CERTAIN RESOLUTIONS REPORTED BY THE RULES COMMITTEE


Committee on Rules: Granted, by a record vote of 9-3, a rule waiving clause 6(a) of rule XIII (requiring a two-thirds vote to consider a rule on the same day it is reported from the Rules Committee) against certain resolutions reported from the Rules Committee.
