LANCE TEAMING UP WITH AREA BUSINESSES TO HONOR VETERANS WITH THANKSGIVING FEAST; COAT DRIVE

PLAINFIELD, NJ – Congressman Leonard Lance (NJ-07) on Thursday, November 25, will join local businesses for a Thanksgiving dinner and winter coat drive at Café Vivace in Plainfield in support of area veterans and their families.

The Thanksgiving dinner is hosted by Café Vivace owner and manager Frank Pascale and Garden State Securities executive vice president of business development Fred Haas.  Sponsors include a number of local businesses spanning four counties that make up New Jersey's Seventh Congressional District.

The dinner will run from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day and is free to all area veterans and their families.  Café Vivace located at 1370 South Avenue in Plainfield.

Lance encourages local veterans to call the restaurant at 908-753-4500 if they're interested in coming; accommodations are being made for up to five family members per veteran.

In addition to the Thanksgiving dinner the event is also featuring a winter coat drive from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. to help those less fortunate veterans and their families.
