These are challenging times for our state and our nation, and now more than ever we need to set aside partisan differences and work together to find common sense solutions to the issues we face.

As a fiscal conservative and a member of the Blue Dog Democratic Coalition, I am firmly committed to restoring fiscal discipline, reducing our deficit, and promoting job growth by supporting our nation’s small businesses.  As an Eastern Shore resident, I’m also committed to protecting the agricultural heritage of our part of Maryland, while working to protect and clean up the Chesapeake Bay so that future generations of Marylanders will be able to enjoy this national treasure.
