Internships
Each semester, Congressman Harper has two college interns in his Washington, D.C., office. During the summer, there are two 6-week internship terms, with three interns per term. Interns will be able to learn about the legislative process and see how Mississippians are affected by the decisions that are made in Washington. Interns will be responsible for greeting constituents that come into the office, giving tours of the Capitol, and assisting the Congressman's staff in day to day office duties.
Interns are responsible for their own living expenses—including housing, food, and transportation. However, to help offset these costs, you will receive a monthly stipend.
If you are interested in applying to be an intern in Congressman Gregg Harper's office and have completed your sophomore year of college, please fill out the application and submit it through the mail and by fax.
