Way ahead of their time, these men were singing and playing music more than a century before a certain hit television series. In 1904, to be exact, students enrolled in the Michigan College of Mines could choose from a handful of clubs, organizations, and activities. Today, Michigan Tech students have nearly endless opportunities to expand their educations and their experiences. 
Contributions to Michigan Tech help fund many important areas, none more so than our students. They receive financial assistance in the form of scholarships and fellowships, often thanks to alumni and friends of Michigan Tech. Michigan Tech's Concrete Canoe team hopped aboard their canoe, the Yooper, and paddled their way to national recognition.
