1. Where can I find information on the BP Deepwater Horizon Gulf Coast Oil Spill, including the federal government’s response?

After the April 20, 2010 “Deepwater Horizon” oil rig explosion in the Gulf of Mexico, there have been several Congressional Hearings and over twenty relative pieces of legislation introduced in Congress.

On Saturday, November 7, 2009, the House passed  H.R. 3962, "to provide affordable, quality health care for all Americans and reduce the growth in health care spending, and for other purposes," commonly known as "Affordable Health Care for America Act."

This bill passed the House with: 220 AYES and 215 NOES, in Roll Call 887.

This bill, H.R. 3962, was introduced on October 29, 2009 by Representative John Dingell and referred to the Committee on Energy and Commerce, Education and Labor, Ways and Means, Oversight and Government Reform, the Budget, Rules, Natural Resources and the Judiciary.
