Send greetings and care packages:
America Supports You One of many initiatives managed by the Department of Defense’s Office of Community Relations, is intended to communicate citizen support to the men and women serving in the Armed Forces and their families.
AnySoldier.com Lets people send care packages that are distributed to soldiers. Frequently asked questions, success stories, and how to get involved.
Operation USO Visitors can send a care package to service members overseas by making a donation.
Adopt-a-Platoon This organization allows visitors to make a contribution to provide cards, letters and care packages to lift the morale of troops as they serve far from home and assist military families.

Operation Uplink Veterans of Foreign Wars program provides free phone cards to deployed troops and hospitalized veterans to help keep them connected with loved ones.
Freedom Calls Foundation Provides state-of-the-art video conference and telephone services free-of-charge to military families.

Assist wounded troops at home:
U.S. Army – Walter Reed Army Medical Center Learn how citizens, organizations, and corporations can donate cash or goods and services to patients, doctors, and staff.
Wounded Warrior Project Provides programs and services to severely injured service members during the time between active duty and transition to civilian life.
Donate airline miles:
Hero Miles Provides free airline tickets to military men and women who are undergoing treatment at a military or VA medical center incident to their service in Iraq or Afghanistan, and their families. Partners with AirTran Airways, Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Continental Airlines, Frontier Airlines, Midwest Airlines, United Airlines, and US Airways.
Delta Airlines/Northwest Airlines SkyMiles members can donate miles to help families of hospitalized soldiers with their travel needs. Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards members may transfer free tickets they have earned to another individual, but there is currently no formal ticket donation program.
