Committees

I currently serve on three committees in the House of Representatives: the House Committee on Agriculture, the House Committee on Financial Services, and the House Committee on Science and Technology.

House Committee on Agriculture

Legislative Staffer: Nicole Scott

I proudly serve as the Ranking Member, or the Republican leader, for the House Committee on Agriculture. As the Ranking Member of the Agriculture Committee, I serve as a policy leader for all areas of the committee’s jurisdiction. The jurisdiction of the House Agriculture Committee includes oversight of USDA and its various agencies and programs, such as the Conservation Reserve Program, Disaster Assistance, Rural Development, Livestock Compensation, and Crop Insurance and Food Safety. In addition, the committee has jurisdiction over the Food and Drug Administration and the Commodities Futures Trading Commission.

House Committee on Financial Services

Legislative Staffer: Courtney Box

On the House Committee on Financial Services, I serve as a member of the Markets, Insurance, and Government Sponsored Enterprises Subcommittee, and the Domestic and International Monetary Policy, Trade, and Technology Subcommittee.

 

House Committee on Science and Technology

Legislative Staffer: Alex Browning

On the House Committee on Science and Technology, I serve on the Space and Aeronautics Subcommittee.
