New Financial Aid Recipients

Do you have concerns that your college, university, or trade school operates in a deceptive or fraudulent manner? If you suspect fraud, waste, or abuse involving federal student aid, e.g. Pell Grants, Direct Loans, etc., or if you believe that school personnel have misrepresented any aspect of the educational program, its cost, or its outcome, you should contact the Inspector General’s Hotline at 1 800-MIS-USED or http://www2.ed.gov/about/offices/list/oig/hotline.html?src=rt.

The National Student Loan Data SystemSM (NSLDSSM) Financial Aid Review service allows you to access information on loan and/or grant amounts, outstanding balances, loan status, and disbursements.
