Efficiency Vermont will implement the Appliance Rebate Program. Call Toll-free: 1-888-921-5990 for more information on what appliances are eligible for this rebate and how to apply.

Do I have to turn in my old appliance to be eligible for an Energy Star rebate?

Only purchases that replace an existing appliance are eligible for a rebate. The Department of Energy is strongly encouraging the recycling of old appliances purchased under the program. See the ENERGY STAR Recycling page for more information on appliance recycling.
