If you have a newer Macintosh computer with Adobe Reader 9 installed on it, you can still use Adobe Reader version 8 so that you can use the lobbying disclosure forms.  Before you download and install the version 8, you will need to verify the operating system version and processor on your computer.

To verify the operating system and processor:

      Click the Apple icon on the top left hand corner of your screen:

      Click on About this Mac:

A screen is displayed with the operating system version number and processor type.  Processor types are Power PC or Intel.  You will need this information to select the appropriate version of Adobe Reader;

      Close the screen and open your browser.  Navigate to http://www.adobe.com;

      Click on the Downloads link at the top of the screen;

      Click on the Get Adobe Reader button;

The download for Adobe Reader 9 is displayed;

      Click on the Different language or operating system? Link:

A list of operating systems is displayed.  You can select a version for your processor that provides an install for Adobe Reader 8.2;

      Select Mac OS Intel 10.4.11 or Mac PowerPC 10.4.11, even if you have a higher version of the operating system.  English is selected as the default language;

      Click the Continue button:

Two versions of Adobe Reader will be displayed;

      Click on the Adobe Reader 8.2 radio button;

      Click the Download now button;

The installation file will be downloaded to your computer.  During the installation, you will be asked if you want to install the Safari plug in and if you want to make this application the default for .pdf files.  If you choose both of these options you will be able to open the lobbying disclosure form from the website, and complete, save, and file the forms successfully.
