Washington D.C. – Congresswoman Carolyn B. Maloney, Chair of the Joint Economic Committee (JEC) will hold a hearing on the newly released employment figures from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).  Chair Maloney will preside over the hearing entitled, “The Employment Situation: February 2009” on Friday, March 6, 2009 at 9:30 am in Dirksen Room 106.  BLS commissioner Keith Hall will testify to recent developments in the labor markets.
