I am pleased that the subcommittee has begun to look at last year's landmark transportation legislation. This is one of three planned hearings on TEA 21 that the subcommittee has identified at this point in time. The other two hearings will focus on project delivery and streamlining and will be held on April 29th and May 20th.
Today's hearing gives us a chance to look at a wide variety of issues and to hear testimony from the Administration and others on the implementation status of this important legislation.
