Veterans

Whether it is VA healthcare, disability compensation and concurrent receipt of benefits, the care of military heroes is a top priority for the 111th Congress.

The G.I. Bill for the 21st Century, a sweeping veterans' education package, was passed and signed in law during the 110th Congress. The legislation fully restores four-year college scholarships for Iraq and Afghanistan veterans. To learn more about the GI Bill, please visit here.

I have always been a supporter of veterans' rights and benefits, and I will continue to fight for veterans. It's our duty and responsibility as elected officials to take care of those who have served our country in the Armed Forces.
