Some of the nation's finest institutions reside within our state's borders. I am proud to be associated with schools that set such high standards and students that rise to the occasion.

Idaho State University

University of Idaho

The College of Idaho
College of Idaho logoThe College of Idaho is a private, liberal arts institution that provides an undergraduate education for more than 800 students in Caldwell.

The College was recently ranked the 20th best college in the U.S. for "More Things to Do on Campus" by the Princeton Review and is regularly ranked in various publications as a top college in the Pacific Northwest and nationally. The College's 50-acre campus includes walking trails, athletic fields, academic buildings, an art gallery, an auditorium and an outdoor amphitheater. The College's newest facilities include a student union building, two apartment-like residence halls and a performing and fine arts center.

U.S. News & World Report magazine named Albertson College the best regional liberal arts college in the West. The college is also included in Peterson's Guide to Competitive Colleges, The Fiske Guide to Colleges, Barron's Best Buys in College Education, and the Princeton Review's 311 Best Colleges.

The College recently added a $3 million student center, $6 million performing and fine arts center, $10 million athletic center, and underwent a $4.5 million renovation of its five residence halls.

Eastern Idaho Technical College

Northwest Nazarene University

North Idaho College

BYU-Idaho
In 2000, the leaders of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced that Ricks College, the nation's largest private junior college, would become a four-year university and take the name Brigham Young University-Idaho. BYU-Idaho seeks to develop students who are faithful disciples and capable leaders. This is done by creating a wholesome, righteous learning community in which students can strengthen their testimony of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ and receive a quality education that prepares them for leadership in the home, the Church, and the workplace.  

College of Southern Idaho
CSI Eagles--logoThe College of Southern Idaho is the center of education, business and cultural activity for south central Idaho.

As a comprehensive two-year community college it annually serves some 9,000 students with credit classes and another 8,000 with non-credit professional and enrichment courses. Some 10,000 to 40,000 people come to the campus monthly for workshops and events other than credit classes.

The College of Southern Idaho is one of the fastest growing institutions of higher education in the state. CSI has off-campus centers in Burley, Gooding, Jerome, and Hailey. The College of Southern Idaho offers a variety of educational opportunities to the people of South Central Idaho.
