Pages

Congressional Page Program

Pages hold a distinct and historic role in the U.S. House of Representatives.  They serve Members of Congress by preparing the House Floor for Congressional sessions, submitting Floor speeches to the Congressional Record, delivering correspondence and small packages around the Capitol Complex, and answering phones in the Member cloakrooms.  Pages must be high school juniors with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.  During their time in Washington, participants live in a Page Dorm and take classes at the House Page School.

Serving as a Page is an exciting, enriching experience and a great way to learn firsthand about the legislative process and how Congress works.
During her time in Congress, Susan has had the honor of sponsoring some talented and energetic students from the 53rd District for the Congressional Page Program. While she is unsure when her next opportunity to sponsor a page will arise, if and when that happens she will announce it in her e-newsletter and post it on this page.
