Help with Federal Agencies
We're Here to Help You!

As a Member of Congress, I am often able to help constituents with problems they are having with federal agencies. It is often difficult to navigate through the confusing process, red tape, or mistakes that may occur with different agencies.  While I am not able to direct an agency or guarantee a certain outcome, I will do my best to ensure that your problem is addressed thoroughly and fairly.

If you need my assistance with an agency, please follow these steps:

1)  Check this list of common problems
The solution to your problem may be easier than you think! Click here to find out whether there is an easy solution for you. (PDF)

2)  Confirm that your problem is with a federal agency
Congressional rules restrict the types of problems with which I can assist.  I can assist with problems with federal agencies only.  For a list of federal agencies, click here.  If your problem is with a state, county or city agency, you should contact your representative at that respective level of government.   To find your representatives, click here.

3)  Determine whether you live within the 53rd Congressional District
Congressional rules also restrict whom I can assist.  I can assist constituents that live within the 53rd District.  To determine your district, click here.

4)  Complete a Casework Authorization Form
Because of privacy laws, I need you to complete this form in order to obtain information about your case.  Click here to download the form(PDF).
