“For years, Americans have felt ignored by the very people they elected to represent them in Washington,” said Congressman Price. “Even as the arrogance of government has grown more pervasive, the voices of the people have refused to be silenced. And under the current majority, Washington has lost the consent of the governed. Americans cannot and should not abide this any longer.

“The Pledge is truly the work product of the American people. Republicans have been listening to our fellow Americans and this governing agenda reflects what they have said are their highest priorities. In it, we pledge to encourage job creation and free enterprise, define and follow a path to a balanced budget, fix the dysfunction in Congress, repeal and replace ObamaCare, and protect our citizens and borders.
