Price Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month
Congressman Tom Price (R-GA) issued the following statement on the first day of Hispanic Heritage Month, which lasts from September 15 to October 15.
“Over the next month, Americans will commemorate the many contributions Hispanics have made to our country,” said Congressman Price. “From the battlefield to the playing field, in classrooms, board rooms, and family rooms, Hispanic Americans have helped to protect and enrich this great nation. These neighbors, friends, and family members deserve our sincere appreciation.
“Approximately 2.5 million small businesses are Hispanic-owned, and Washington’s burdensome mandates and tax hikes hurt them and every other job creator. With the right mix of determination, hard work, and an entrepreneurial spirit, every American has the opportunity to succeed in this country so long as Washington does not stand in the way. That is the American Dream that Republicans are fighting to keep alive for future generations.
“As we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, I join every Georgian in looking forward to the opportunities that tomorrow will bring.”
