Price Statement on Rosh Hashanah

Congressman Tom Price (GA-06) issued the following statement in recognition of the Jewish holiday of Rosh Hashanah, which begins tonight at sundown.

“Tonight, the Jewish community will commemorate the beginning of its New Year by celebrating Rosh Hashanah,” said Congressman Price. “Across cultures, the coming of a New Year is a time to remember the past, cherish the present, and look forward to the future. Gentiles and Jews in America share a strong commitment to liberty, democracy, education, and support for our staunch ally Israel. The Jewish people have made tremendous contributions to our country throughout its history, and on the eve of Rosh Hashanah, they have much to remember, much to cherish, and much more to come. I hope for nothing but peace and prosperity for the Jewish community and all Americans in the year to come.”
